No cakes this weekend. Only cookies. So, stuck to simple whole wheat cookies just mildly spiced. Adapted from the Pillsbury book, it was quite simple to pull it off.

Inspired by Nigel Slater’s Beetroot Chocolate Cake, I tried substituting eggs with flax seeds. Dense and moist, I used chocolate that is 70% cacao solids, so it’s not overly sweet. In the real sense, one cannot binge on it  đ My photo is bad though đ I like shooting in Natural light and was deprived of it!
