Pear and Pecan Salad

I’m writing a post after a really long time. Ever since I got back to work, my kitchen has taken a back seat. Not that I did not cook, but did not have the time for clicks. Time was the greatest gift I enjoyed for over 1 year. I thought I should make it up today by at least making a salad. Here we go:

1 Pear sliced thinly

1/2 lettuce rinsed / washed and chopped in to medium piece

1/2 cup pecan nut

For the dressing:

4 tsp Olive Oil

1/2 tsp brown sugar

2 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp dried tarragon

1 tsp mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

Take a large bowl. Add the pecans, sliced pear and lettuce and set aside.

To make the dressing, blend dried tarragon, mustard and brown sugar. Add olive oil and lemon juice and shake well.

Transfer the dressing in to the bowl of veggies and toss well. Add salt and pepper.

Enjoy your salad fresh.
